St. Camillus School & Early Childhood Learning Center is open to children of all backgrounds, we highly value diversity of culture, language, religion and all other forms of diversity.

Registration for the upcoming school year typically takes place in the winter and spring. Students will continue to be accepted through the fall as space permits.

It is our preference that preschool students begin the school year as a class in the fall, however we will accept new students throughout the school year pending an interview with the principal.

Transfer students are welcome throughout the school year pending a review of previous school records and an interview with the principal.

  2. Complete a registration packet and submit the registration fee.

Fill out a registration form for each child that you would like to register for school. Our registration form asks for important information about your child and family. This information is very important to us, it helps us to obtain government aid and private grants, so please fill the form out completely. If you have questions, give us a call, we'll be glad to help. When you form is complete, return it to the school office with your $100 (per family) registration fee.

  3. Fill out the financial aid application (PSAS form) and submit it to the school.

Financial assistance is available from two primary sources (St. Camillus Church and School and the Catholic Archdiocese of Washington). These funds are distributed based on financial need and available to families regardless of religion.

A completed PSAS form is necessary to receive the multiple child grant and to qualify for financial assistance. Financial assistance based on need is not guaranteed and families must apply again each year.

PSAS forms must be mailed by February 19, 2010.

Financial aid and scholarships are available from several other sources, please click here for information.

  4. Receive the "Welcome Packet" from the school and schedule an appointment with your physician to complete the health forms.

Your welcome packet will contain important information to help you get ready for the new school year. The packet also contains important health forms that must be completed before your child(ren)'s first day of school

  5. Receive the financial aid award division letter and bill.

By the late spring you will receive a letter from the school which details all grants and need-based financial aid that you are being offered for the new school year. The letter will also contain your bill detailing all of your tuition and fees for your entire family. The bill will also show your monthly payment schedule.

  6. Submit the book, supply and technology fee by June 1st.

To complete the registration process, families must submit the book, supply, and technology fee for each of the children they are registration by June 1st. This fee is vital because it allows us to purchase all of the book and supplies we will need to be ready for your child(ren) on the first day of school.

  7. Attend the new student orientation in the fall.

Before the school year begins we will have an orientation session in August to provide you with the opportunity to meet your child(ren)'s teachers, meet other parents, and to get acquainted with the school before the first day. Information about the date and time of the orientation will be included in one of your summer mailings.
